PROJECTS
The iRex Project was a large-scale programme of works 2022 & 2023, to upgrade the ferry service between New Zealand’s North & South Islands. The aim of the project was to deploy two new custom-designed ferries, along with two new ferry terminal buildings - one at Kaiwharawhara in Wellington and the other at Waitohi / Picton.

We used internationally-recognised transit service design approaches to ensure transfers between bus services for passengers at each interchange are as seamless as possible and that each interchange will produce increased bus service use in the North-West from Day One of service launch in 2023.

cOlab was part of a global multidisciplinary team 2021/2022 that developed a Crisis/Pandemic Management Framework and an associated Communications Strategy for TransJakarta – the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Service Network for the city of Jakarta, Indonesia. TransJakarta has the world’s longest BRT network - 252.1 kilometres in length.
